The River
I may not have any form or shape
I may not taste like the vineyard grape
Because I am just a river
My job is to go on forever.
I flourish the deltas as i go
So that happy farmers can reap and sow
Because I am a mighty river
My job is to go on forever.
You can slow me down by building a dam
But am as nasty as your inbox spam
Because I am a bubbling river
And my job is to go on forever.
I may be gone for some time in summer
But I will be back, like the majestic hummer
Because I am a tenacious river
My job is to go on forever.
Throw me garbage, excrete and all assorted platter
I manage to eat them and still give you good water
Because I am a forgiving river
My job is to go on forever.
You can throw any hurdles between me and my ocean
But whatever happens, I reach destination
Because I am a focused river
And my job is to go on forever.
Any reason for my existence, other than the water?
Oh dear Man! I have many lessons in my journey to cater
Because I am a wise river
And my job is to teach you that life goes on forever.
